Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you use CleanCredit’s credit-record assistance services.

Effective 3 July 2026CleanCredit · a division of The Debt Company

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the services provided by CleanCredit, a division of The Debt Company ([Company registration number — to be added]) (“CleanCredit”, “we”, “us”). By engaging our services you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

CleanCredit provides professional credit-record assistance, including reviewing your credit record, preparing and lodging disputes and updates with the registered credit bureaus, obtaining paid-up letters, assisting with judgments, debt review removal and rehabilitation after sequestration, and related administration. We are not a credit provider. We do not provide loans, debt consolidation or any financial product.

2. What we cannot do

No legitimate business can remove accurate, valid or current debt from a credit record, and we do not do so. We work only within the processes permitted by South African law, including the National Credit Act. We do not guarantee any particular outcome; results depend on your individual circumstances and the response of creditors, bureaus and the courts.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful information and documentation, and to authorise us where we act on your behalf. Our services are intended for individuals who have settled the relevant accounts or who meet the legal requirements for the applicable process.

4. Fees

Fees depend on the nature and complexity of your matter and will be quoted to you before any chargeable work begins. The initial assessment is free and carries no obligation.

5. Not legal or financial advice

Information provided on our website and in our communications is general in nature and does not constitute legal or financial advice. Where a matter requires legal action, it is handled by or with qualified attorneys.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, CleanCredit is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, or for outcomes determined by third parties such as creditors, credit bureaus or the courts.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always appear on this page. Questions may be directed to info@cleancredit.co.za or 021 891 3497. Address: Century Way, The Colosseum, Cape Town, 7441.
